Hello,I am a DBA. I've only used SSAS a few times. However, I have installed it and the database engine a few times.Now, the users are telling me that a cube that is in production is viewable in Excel. On this server, there are two cubes.[b]One I can see in Excel[/b], data from other services - analysis services.[b]The other cube, I can't see[/b]. I am told this is the same cube that works in our QA environment.I checked the QA enviornment and I see the security is the same as in production. The firewall rule are the same.[b]One thing that I noticed is different.[u][/u][/b]When, in SSMS, I look at the role properties - dimensions data -on the cube that is not showing, I see an error message. "Error retrieving children".When I look at the dimensions, I see state "unprocessed".Would this cause the cube to NOT be visible in Excel? If so, how do I change the process state?
