I have a tabular model in SSAS that I need to import an excel calendar worksheet into. The excel file format is Excel 97-2003.I follow steps:Click Model ->Import From Data Source -> Excel -> test connection (good) ->specify worksheet->click finish.<><><><><><><><>ERROR:The provider 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' is not registered.The following system error occurred: Class not registered A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of '67de5240-9814-46e9-afd9-1434c2639149', Name of 'Excel Calendar Table 3'.An error occurred while processing the partition 'Date Values_5c4c2acf-96b2-4600-bbf8-14c51b2b2c13' in table 'Date Values_5c4c2acf-96b2-4600-bbf8-14c51b2b2c13'.The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.<><><><><><><><><><><>System info64 bit Office 2016 WITH 32 bit 2013 SSDT WHAT I'VE TRIED1. I did what many forums advised ie install of 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components from this site:https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=23734 2. Also, was originally was running 32 bit Office 2016 so uninstalled office and reinstalled 64 bit.3. Lastly, converted excel to tab delimited text file and tried and get same error.same error!!!!. how to fix this so I can import an excel worksheet??? Please help.
